Who we are
FunFlick is operated by THE FLICK CO. (ABN 19 874 542 838) in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with funflick.com.au, customer enquiries and orders placed through our eBay store.
Information we collect
When you email us or ask for support, we may collect your name, email address, order number and the information you choose to include in your message. Please only provide information that is reasonably necessary for us to answer your enquiry.
When you purchase through eBay, eBay processes the transaction and may provide us with the contact, order and delivery information needed to fulfil the order, provide customer service and meet our legal obligations. FunFlick does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Our website hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. The contact form currently displayed on this website does not submit or store the information entered into it.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, process and deliver eBay orders, manage returns and refunds, maintain business and tax records, prevent misuse or fraud, protect the website, improve our service and comply with applicable laws. We do not sell personal information. We do not currently send direct marketing from this website; if that changes, we will provide the choices required by law.
Sensitive information and discretion
Sexual wellness purchases and enquiries may be private or sensitive. We limit access to order and enquiry information to what is reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, and we ask that you do not send medical information or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for us to assist you.
Age confirmation and website data
The website stores a simple 18+ confirmation on your device so that the age notice does not appear on every visit. This setting does not identify you and can be removed through your browser settings. We do not currently use advertising cookies or our own analytics tools. Third-party services used to deliver the website, including web fonts, may receive routine technical data when your browser connects to them.
When information may be shared
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to eBay, delivery providers, website hosting and security providers, email providers, professional advisers, insurers, payment or fraud-prevention services, and government or regulatory authorities. These parties may only receive the information relevant to the service they provide or as required by law.
Overseas processing
Some service providers, including eBay, email, website hosting and technology providers, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Their handling of information is also governed by their own privacy terms and applicable laws.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps appropriate to our small business to protect the information we hold from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, to resolve disputes, and to meet legal, accounting and record-keeping requirements, after which it is deleted or de-identified where practicable.
Access, correction and privacy complaints
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing funflick.au@gmail.com. Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant record. We will acknowledge and consider your request within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity. If the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies and you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
eBay and external websites
Purchases are completed on eBay, which collects and handles information under its own User Privacy Notice. Other websites linked from FunFlick may also have separate privacy practices. We encourage you to read those policies before providing personal information.
